Sign up to get a Medicare Office back in Rockdale
On 13 May 1997 the Howard government announced that it would be closing 43 Medicare Offices in metropolitan and urban areas. One of these offices was the Rockdale office.
This is despite a quarter of the population (11,000) in the Rockdale electorate being over 65 years of age. Rockdale is now the only City in metropolitan Sydney without a Medicare Office.
Although this is a fedral issue I will do what I can to assist.
