Frank Sartors Achievements

Frank Sartor

Frank Sartor believes that elected representatives who achieve senior positions such as Mayor or Minister have a special responsibility to make a lasting contribution to the community.

In Frank’s words: “Being in a senior elected position where you can influence and implement change is an absolute privilege.  Governments at all levels can do lots of things better and anyone who finds themselves in such a position should give it their absolute best effort, or get out and give someone else a go.”

For seventeen years from September 1991 until September 2008, Frank Sartor served as either Lord Mayor of Sydney (for over 11 years) and as a Minister in the NSW government.  At every stage of his tenure in these positions he pursued change and reform and his list of achievements is impressive.

To Frank public service has been a vocation, not just a job, and he has never let “grass grow under his feet” as he passionately pursued the public good.
